Out of curiosity, does anyone have a lead on a competent, English-speaking piano teacher somewhere in the Seoul vicinity? I was thinking of getting back into it, though I've forgotten nearly all of it from my earlier years and would have to start as a novice.

Classical music is fairly popular here, so I imagine it should be feasible to find someone somewhere.

are you still looking for a piano teacher?

*please see below*
~~~~~~~
i am a female american living in korea and am offering piano lessons to students of all ages!
my credentials are as follows: a master of arts degree in music and arts administration; a bachelor of arts degree in music and marketing; 10 years of music teaching experience (all ages...from 5-year-olds to adults!)
the lessons would be offered in my house in itaewon. however, if you prefer i came to your home, that is a possibility as well!
i am also an english instructor and am currently teaching at korea university! if you're interested in learning english and piano - all wrapped up in one lesson - that is something we could arrange as well!
rates are as follows:
30 minutes - 25,000w
45 minutes - 37,000w
60 minutes - 50,000w
please contact me if you're interested or have further questions!
cheers!
are we not allowed to discuss private lessons because it is illegal for e2 visa holders?...if that's the case - i'm an f4 visaholder and therefore legal for me to teach privates...
if we are not allowed to discuss privates merely as a dave's esl rule - then my apologies. i wasn't aware of such a rule...
