I passed the interview and my interviewer said he sent my documents to Daegu and told me when the orientation was. Does that mean I have a job? I haven't been sent a contract. I could just email him but I'm trying not to be annoying |

Unless you have send the hard copies of the application documents (along with a signed contract) you do NOT have a confirmed job yet.

hmmm.... I sent in the hard copies of the application and documents right after I passed the interview. He said they would send out a contract later but it's been a while. |

they take their sweet time. There are a lot of people in your position over on the August EPIK thread that is on this area of the forum. When I signed up for EPIK it took them until the end of January to send me the contract for my position that was to start at the end of Feb. If they told you on the phone you got it and you sent in all your documentation it should be coming soon. |

I have been waiting to hear about my documents too, although I haven't heard about the orientation at all! I did get an email from EPIK almost 3 weeks ago, I felt like that was assuring they got my documents. Did you get that email?
How did you find out about the orientation? What recruiting agency did you use? |

contact your recruiter. you're not being annoying, and even if you were, he's getting paid to deal with you for EPIK. it's his job. |

EPIK has apparently been changing things around at the last minute. I had my interview and sent my documents in back in April and was accepted to the Gyeonggi POE, and yesterday they emailed me and said that there was a possibility I'd have to move to a different province. Likklebear had the same thing happen. Just wait for your contract! |

I went ahead and emailed him. He said I was accepted into Daegu and that they're going to send the contract and an official email within a few weeks.
Shannon0: He didn't say too much about orientation. Just when it starts. I ended up applying directly to EPIK.
At first I went with WorknPlay. I was back and forth with some one there in March to get my application ready. Three weeks went by after they said they were going to send it in. I thought I was being patient. When I called them to check on it they said that the person I was dealing with wasn't there and they weren't dealing with EPIK this term. At the time I was a little pissed but it worked out alright.
Now that I'm a little more familiar with the process, I don't understand why they use recruiters when they accept applications directly? |
