A friend of mine and I are traveling to Busan this weekend, and we each have short shopping lists. To be sure, we want to know the exact locations of these items before we arrive. I have a few ideas where mine may be, but, I would appreciate your advice and directions if possible. I need:

1) Protein Powder. I hear that Costco is an acceptable place to start, but I wonder if there are more options for this in Busan. I'm hoping to find a place with a selection, possibly even a supplement store where I could buy other supplements beyond protein. ANY information on this would be helpful.

2) iPod dock connector to USB 2.0 cable. These are inexpensive, and would likely be sold at an electronics store. I'm also interested in possibly buying a camera or an mp3 player, so it would be valuable to know what electronic store has superior selection, and prices, so I can plan a visit.

3) A barber! If I really lucked out, I'd find a barber who uses a straight-edge razor and get a quality cut that way. I know some barbers occasionally speak English as well, and finding one of these would be grand. I also hope to find and purchase a styler and clipper set. I don't know exactly where these would be available in Korea, so again, any help works.

Thanks for your replies. I leave Friday night. Wink

the first two you can find at any of the lotte department stores and possibly mega mart near gwangalli. there is a GNC located in the lotte dept store although the protein is quite pricey. your cheapest bet is to order online

as for the barber, not sure who uses a razor as that seems a bit odd to me but i'm fairly picky about my hair and find the average hair salon does a pretty good job. just take in a pic of how you want it done or have someone write in korean how you would like your hair done....this coming from a guy who has kept the same barber back home for 10 years and refuse to get my hair cut by anyone else.
