| I bought mine via gmarket. Good price. Not the absolute lowest, but the best seller ratings I could find. They also threw in some freebies like covers, screen cleaners etc. I love it. Just make sure you upgrade to the newest 2.5 firmware, 2.3 sucked. |

Are you using Cowon USA firmware for your S9? Or Cowon Korea? |

Well, I used the USA site for a firmware update about 6 months after getting the S9 which came with the 1.0 Korean firmware. After installing the USA firmware I found a few things missing from menu, like the dictionary and games......with the help of a Korean I used the Cowon Korea site and got the 1.3 firmware which restored the dictionary and games......plus it seemed to upgrade the whole menu system and made the touchscreen more usable. |

| Mine came with 1.8 or 1.9, I upgraded to 2.3 via the US site after about 3 months. I didn't try to move any files for a while since I had loaded up about 15GB of videos of Doctor Who to watch. When that was done and i tried to put more videos, it crashed Windows Explorer every time I tried to move a video clip. It could do pictures and audio files, but not video. I installed 2.5 on Monday and it works great. New menu options, everything's still available. |
