I've mentioned them a couple of times in other threads. Here they are-

Too bad they're on hiatus.

They picked the hardest band name for Koreans to pronounce. +1

But they're a bit too unoriginal and uninspired for me -- it's department store music.

As for Korean stuff that's more up my alley, this one's an oldie but a goodie:

I really like their mellow vibe. Throw them on when doing laundry or studying and then they really shine. Plus they are more 'Album Oriented'. Their albums are meant to be listened all the way through as an album.

A neighbor gave me a CD by
서울전자음악단

I was impressed. Guitar rock from Korea!

My husband played bass in an early incarnation of 서울전자음악단 - The lead singer is the son of the "Father" of Korean rock - Shin Joong-hyun.

The son is a seriously talented songwriter and guitarist. It's worth checking out some of the Father's stuff as well, to see where Korean rock was going before the government shut it down.

What I could find on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEGIBHIlXYg

Edited to add: Another of the sons is in the band Sinawe - who used to be pretty well-known. The youngest son plays drums...I think in his brother's band.
