In Bruges is an under rated classic in my opinion. My favorite movie of the decade.

I certainly enjoyed both films. In Bruges holds up far better than Gran Torino for repeat viewings, though. Don't know how much I'd like Torino if I watched it again.

check out intermission starring colin farrell, colm meaney, and cillian murphy. It's a brilliant, totally under-rated movie

not specifically a colin farrell fan, but I thought "Cassandra's Dream" was quite good as well. and the one where he is in a phone booth. forget the name of that one.

I really enjoyed Clint in gran torino. What a great character.

In Bruge - excellent. "Why did we have to end up in Bruge and not somewhere good?" Haha that *beep*.

Torino - meh.....I thought that young Mong kid that Eastwood befriended was a pretty bad actor. Perfect part for Eastwood though.

My other favorite part of Bruges is when he lips off the Fat American and the guy tries to chase Farrel but runs out of breath all too quickly Laughing

Yes , they are, though I agree with Bloopity that Bruges holds up better. Also I thought the ending of Torino was a little hokey.

BTW, they have both been out for ages, what kept you from seeing them?

Only heard of them a while ago actually. Watched 'em online again yesterday. They are similar I guess, with funny and sad parts.

Farrell is pretty hit or miss in my opinion. Remember SWAT? Talk about a movie that defined 'not good'. It never was super bad but it never was good either. Just kinda there. That worse than bad in my opinion. Both movies are pretty good. In Bruges is more of a repeat viewing type picture. I missed a lot of good lines in the first viewing because I was laughing at the last one. Led me to watching Six Shooter which is also great.

AHAHAHA. Phone Booth was pretty decent. I keep hoping for Phone Booth 2 where Colin is trapped in yet another phone booth and Kiefer reprises his role: Phone Booth 2: What Are the Odds - Tokyo Drift.

In Bruges has one of the best scenes ever. How can you top a bitter, failed actor dwarf high on coke rambling about a potential race war?
"There's gonna be a war, man."
