I was thinking today that we should put together an Xbox 360 game trade and sell mailing list. Basically just get everyone's email together and then when we finish a game that we want to trade or sell we can just send an email out to the group and hopefully find someone that wants to buy it or trade for it more quickly.

I don't want to set up anything fancy, just a mailing list...I've just found that I've saved tons of money trading games as opposed to buying new ones.

If you're interested then just drop a note saying "I'm in" or something in the thread to keep the thread from disappearing, and then send me a private message with your email address and I'll put the list together after I've got 10 names or so. If you can't send PMs then just leave your email in the thread.

I emailed u already but just a suggestion, look into making a google group for this; it would simplify the emailing process. If u were already thinking of that, then cool.

I am not familiar with google groups....but once I get all the names together I will check it out.

It's really not necessary, but it may simplify things, and the minute it fails to it's worse than useless.

If you have a google account it's as easy as going to http://groups.google.com/, clicking "create" in the top right, filling in a few sections, adding email addresses, and voila, you have a group. Then, you just send your one email to the google group email (eg [email protected] or something) and everyone receives it. It also saves logs of all the correspondence on the google groups webpage, though that's probably not useful with such a group.

I prefer things that way rather than having to type in everyone's email address separately or whatever, but that's just me.

So far so good...I've got 14 names including myself. Hopefully we'll get up to 20 or 25, that would be a good base of peeps to trade games with.
