Hi
I know that this topic is talked about a lot. Sorry to bring it up again but i have a question. Can I get an F2-1 Visa in the middle of my contract? Or would I have to wait until that contract was finished. Thanks for any help in advance. |

Smack-dab in the middle is perfectly ok, and legal....and yes, we've covered this question before.
Shoosh!

I'd like to add something at this point. I also got my F-2-1 visa during a contract. But I had an unexpected surprise, getting the F visa effectively CANCELLED my E-2 visa. I was told I would require a new contract and to gain permission to continue working with my employer.
If you are not interested in working at your current job, you are free after you get your F-2 visa. Once you start working under F-2, you are pretty much free to come and go like a Korean work wise. You won't be required to give a LOR and you can work at as many locations as you like without your employers permission.
Cost is 30,000 won per additional place of employment on your F-2.
Enjoy your soon to be freedom.
