Hi
I have fallen into a messy situation. I applied for my alien registration card yesterday and, whilst doing so, handed in my passport. I have to wait another 8 days till i receive both back (student D4 visa, not an E2).
I have since then started getting a tooth ache and my worst fears are that it could be root canal issues, which my dentist in London mentioned a while back though I stress this is just a guess. Without an alien registration number I can't get any insurance (to the best of my knowledge, I am investigating this now), and without insurance any treatment may cost a lot [so I am told, again I am looking into this]. With some over the counter medication I can numb the pain but only for a while.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get round this issue or can anyone shed any light on what kind of costs are involved? Also does anyone know how the idea of getting insurance, quite literally, one day and then going for treatment the next day will go down in Korea? The pain isn't excrutiating [yet] but is getting progressively worse.
Thanks |

I am 95% sure that dental coverage is not covered until the National Health Insurance Plan anyways.
So theoretically, you would be paying the same amount as someone with NHI. |
