I'm thinking about spending 10 days in Tokyo over my winter vacation in January. I lived there for 4 months last year, so there's so people I want to see and things I want to do there.

Anyway, does anybody have a recommendation for a (cheap) place to stay for 10 days? I feel like hostels are usually only for a couple days stay...or am I mistaken?

I don't know your budget, but I really liked the Amista Asagaya Hotel as of a few months ago. Though -it was around $70/night at the time (possibly too high already). Also, I just checked some random January dates via Agoda.com - and it's price was significantly higher than I recall. It's location is very near subway station ~5 stops west of Shinjuku station.
