J'ai achet� windows 7 en francais mais il est impossible de l'installer sur mon ordinateur dont le syst�me est en anglais.
Il est tout neuf donc et � vendre.

(Sorry for replying in English but my written French is embarrassing.)

As far as I know, computers are language-independent so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to install French Windows on any PC. If you can boot from the disk, you should be fine.

Lion, that's part of what I sent in a PM. However, I think you may be wrong, depending of what exactly the OP bought, because if his/her Windows 7 is just an upgrade then it's possible it won't work, maybe not in all cases, but possibly.

I'm telling you that from personal experience because when I was using XP I had ordered a service pack upgrade CD directly from Microsoft because my XP was in Korean and I thought I would simply use the English upgrade CD to switch XP to English ... but it just didn't work exactly because the languages were different. Sad

From what I understand, that's what is different about Vista and 7... there is only 1 version, and you can change the language settings.

With XP, you had to buy the version in your language.
