So before a school closes, are they supposed to give the teacher a 30 day notice???? I work in public after school program but the number of enrollment has been falling in recent months so the headquarter is considering shutting it down. I have worked with this company for only 1 month now. I know that if you have been employed for more than 6 months, they should give you a 30 day notice but just wondering what my rights are if i have been employed for less than 6 months. |

If they are closing, that means money is dry. You are better off getting a letter of release and finding a new school.
I treat the 30 day notice thing for schools that aren't closing. Others might want to argue for it, but if they paid for your flight then you kinda got your notice "money". Don't feel like you are losing out and good luck with your next school. You'll have to get another one anyway if you want to stay in Korea. |
