|
|
I'm heading to the U.S. for a visit. My 2 year old son and I will be leaving Wednesday the 16th. I'd like to go up Tuesday and get a hotel near Yongsan Station (so we can catch the limo bus from the station to the airport).
Can you recommend a clean, reasonably priced and safe hotel close to Yongsan station? Since I'll have a small child with me cleanliness and safety are my main concerns.
Thanks! |

| Kaya Hotel for 50,000 won is within walking distant of Yongsan and has been great both times we stayed there. |

| Also, I would prefer to NOT be in Itaewon... it's not exactly kid-friendly, you know? |

| I prefer the Rainbow hotel around the corner from Kaya. Its a similar price but it is a little more modern. The Kaya is looking a bit faded thesedays IMO. |

OP, in the alley right in front of Yongsan station is a pretty big Redlight district. I'm talking clear glass storefronts with scantily clad women waiting to get customers.
Not sure if that is something you want your son to see. |

Yeah... I thought about that after I posted.
Ended up getting a hotel in Myeong-dong, farther than I wanted to be... but at least it's in a reasonably clean area.
Ergh. I hate going to Seoul.
Thanks for the reminder! |
