|
|
| My friend was telling me that he went to a place that had M-16's that shot BB pellets. My birthday is coming up and I thought it would be fun to go to a firing range. However, that's pretty expensive. He said that these places were pretty cheap. Anyone have any information on any in Seoul? The one he went to was in Yongin, and I don't want to go that far south. Ideas are appreciated! |

They have a BB shooting range in the I-Park Mall at Yongsan Station.
Dunno if they have M16's though as I never really had a look. |

| Dude they're all over the place. Some places will have AKs, some have MP5s, some have M16s. But it doesn't matter though since they all fire the same 6mm pellet. I just find the sights on the AK to be cumbersome. They're usually about 2000 won for like 40 rounds and they give you a prize if you get a certain score. Some douchey places will break off the sights though. |

| Thanks a lot for all of the suggestions. Does anyone know what these places are called, or what the signs look like? |

| Another one in Gangnam as you are walking towards NB from the subway in the area with all the outdoor games: punching bag, soccer ball, dart throw, etc. |

I belong to a gun club here in korea, and you will find that all the ranges have an area for bb guns. They setup is quite good, but its mainly for children-its exactly as you describe it.
The shotguns (for skeet shooting) and pistols might be more fun for you?? off the top of my head shotguns were 20,000 won for 25 shots....(or thereabouts) and the pistols around 12000....try out a magnum, like being next to a camp fire |

If you want to shot sidearms and rifles, there is an indoor shooting range located near Jamisil station at LOTTE World on the bottom floor next to the ice skating rink. Have fun! |

actually that's a good point. BB guns aren't that expensive unless you want one of those fancy ones that look like real guns and need to be filled with gas or whatever it is.
I got a little pistol for like 10,000 won and shoot down 요구르트 bottles when I'm bored. Nowadays they have electric powered semi-auto/automatic BB guns for like 30-40,000 won I think. |
