|
|
I assume this is another common question but I couldn't find a thread that specifically answered it. Thanks in advance for your patience.
I was wondering what time of year was the best time to apply for a job teaching English in South Korea. I was hoping to arrive in the summertime but I wasn't sure if students there had a summer break or if school went year-round or what. I'm planning to apply to GEPIK, if that helps guide your answers (I assume it will).
Anyway, considering I'm flexible and could pretty much start applying now if I wanted to, I wanted to make sure it wasn't a bad idea to wait until closer to summer.
Thanks for your help! |

Now is always the best time to apply... assuming you want a job ASAP. |

Asian school year starts in March. So, now till March is the best. Next time is September. |

What happens in September? Is that when people start applying again to get jobs the following March? |

No, it's when the second half starts after summer break. In March, you get 40%, September 30%, Fall 20%, and Spring 10%. That's just my assessment. |
