123: I don't care about neither but if I have to pick I would pick those foreign english teachers. Some of english teachers are criminals and majority of them are incompetent. But we still need u.s.military for strategic reason.

그냥저냥: The foreign english teachers make more trouble. They have freedom which most g.i.s don't have.

에이-로이드: Both of them are bad luck (재수없어) but I will have to pick foreign english teachers. They got no skills and incomptent so they come to Korea and make living off of speaking their mother language. Think of it as Koreans who can't get jobs go to place like Vietnam and make living off of teaching Korean.

Azurite: Why are U.S. Soldiers dislikable? Because few of them commit crimes and such? In states, Koreans commit crime and even murder too. If you keep building up hate the only likeable creature would be aliens from the out of earth whom you never met before.

아쏴가오리: I hung out with both u.s.soldiers and foreign teachers and learnd even they hate each other. Foreign teachers look down on g.i.s for their lack of education and g.i.s hate foreign teachers because they think they are both trash but teachers think they are better. Sometimes those teachers even get beat up by G.I.s. But in my opinion, I like G.I.s way better. They maybe less educated and simple minded, but they are kind of 'naive'? However the english teachers are usually more sly and always calculate in their head.

아쏴가오리: Someone above said he feels sorry for G.I.s but it's not always the case. They said they love being stationed in Korea, Germany and Japan..etc. Even though we are still techincally at war against North Korea, they said they feel much safer here than big cities in u.s.a. One guy had to go to Serbia while he was stationed in Korea. And he wanted to kill himself.

ㅌ: I know there are some wae gook teachers who came to Korea to have sex with local women. But if it's some highly valued hagwons, they usually have quality teachers.

I think it is not right to lump them in groups rather than individual.

One thing they or any other person might not say is that English teachers are easy targets.
Korean activitists have tried for decades to get their hands on American soldiers and smear the US military in Korea. However, most administrations, even the leftist regime of that nutcase Noh Mu Hyun, know the importance of having us here in Korea and know very well that we are more than willing to leave if and when the Korean government says so.
So who do they smear and get away with it? English Teachers.
They are not protected by a SOFA or diplomatic immunity, so if they are attacked or harrassed, who is going to protect them?

The only way to get ride of the Foreign English Teachers if for the country as a whole to learn to be very fluent in English to the point that they (teachers) are not needed anymore.

"Foreigners are here to only make money." Thats effin rich. Foreigners are here because Koreans directly invited them individually in order to make money off of these foreigners (hokwons, private schools and universities) or because Koreans perceive that they will make more money in the future if they learn the language of the foreigner (public schools and companies).
Are Koreans unaware that millions of their countrymen have immigrated to other countries in order to make money?

Oh, so the military is better because they feel inferior to the locals? Wow, that's a nice way at looking at the world. Does this guy want me to put a collar on my neck and bark like a dog? Then will not hate me as much?

Also, I could bet this guy a million won that there ain't no US soldier feeling inferior to anybody. The US money spends big money to break these guys down and then pump them up as part of the most superior military in the world. Their identity must revolve around their role as mportant part of an elite force. Don't believe me? Just look at how they strut around Coex in their Ed Hardy gear. Self-confidence, even arrogance, is part of their training.
