I have a psp and years ago I knew how to get emulators and stuff to work. Now, I've neglected the entire psp and it's scene and I feel like a dinosaur. All I wanna do is get FF7 and FF8 onto my psp. How exactly do I navigate the psp store and create accounts and whatnot.
Anybody know how to do it step by step? |

I'm confused... are you saying you want to pirate FF7/8 onto your PSP or get them legitimately through the store?
Anyway, it's pretty simple if you're taking the legitimate route. You can sign up for the PSN store and create an account either on the PSN website OR via your PSP or via a PS3 if you've got one. Just log-in and scroll through PSOne classics, purchase both games, and you can then DL them to your PSP. I have them DLed to my PS3. |

I'd prefer the legitimate route. But other than playing tekken 5 for the last two years, I haven't used any of the psp features. I have no clue how to use the psp and all it's bells and whistles. I've udpated the firmware and I can surf the web with the browser and i went to the playstation store. but my psp can't seem to access the north american store, only korean store.
Can you give me step by step instructions? how do i sign up for accounts? is it easier using a pc to sign up? how does it all work? if its too hard, i'd go the pirate route
edit
i used to do nothing but play videogames and whatnot, but the last few years, I've basically got no time for them anymore and I feel embarrased not knowing how to do this crap. |

Lol, don't go the pirate route. With the PSP the way it is now, with all the fw updates and all that shizz, it's wayyyy more work. Plus, FF7/8 are about 20USD altogether. Anyway, I think if you've ever purchased anything on line, signing up for a PSN account and purchasing the games should be a piece of cake.
I'd say sign up through your PSP. Do you have it on hand? If you update your PSP to whatever the current firmware is, you should be able to see the PSN store option from the home screen. The whole process is super simple, straightorward, and guides you through. |

No sir. I bought loads of games onto my PS3 recently... didn't even verify my CC info. Anyone could get on my PS3, log-in, and purchase every single thing available... hm... maybe I should remove my info... |

how exactly do i manage games on the psp after i d/l them?
for example, lets say i buy 3 games but only have space for 2. do i just put my games in a new folder and switch them in or out? or will i have to delete the game from the mem stick and redownload it later when i want to play again? |

I'm sorry, but I have no idea about this. I'm working with 250gb. I'm assuming you could switch between memsticks. Honestly though, with the connections with have in Korea, it wouldn't take long to redownload the games. I think it took me less than 10 minutes to get FFVII (wired connection)
I like the system they have set up. It's like Steam where you can have access to any of the games you've purchased and can download them (on up to 5 systems, I think). |

i think i figured it out. i'm using that mediago thing and its sorta like itunes. u just d/l the game from psn on to the stick, then transfer it from my stick to the games folder provided by mediago.
do you have a 250gb mem stick pro duo? or are u talking about your ps3 HD?
how much do mem stick pro duos cost in korea? i want a 4 gb stick.
are you up to date with the homebrew/pirate/emu scene for psp? I used to run neogeo and snes emulators on my psp, but i gave that up years ago to play tekken 5 |
