I know about Whatthebook, but I've heard they closed down? But the site still seems up...
I tried Interpark, but it was giving me a bunch of errors when trying to pay and Gmarket doesn't have much.
Any other sites? |

| What The Book didn't close, it just moved locations. Now it's on the main street of Itaewon, closer to noksapyeong end of town, across from All-American Diner. For cheap books, I either buy on their website, or buy used books on amazon. It's $12.99 for shipping, but if you find a book that only a buck or two, then it's not so bad. |

I've become a big fan of UK book depository. Great service and a big selection. Shipping is a real bargain also.

If you can handle Korean interface, then
http://www.yes24.com
http://www.aladdin.co.kr
http://www.kyobobook.co.kr
have the widest coverage unless you order directly from overseas.
In addition, you must stick to Internet Explorer in this country whenever online payment is involved. I still keep IE6 on my laptop for that reason. |

I'll second Book Depository above. I've ordered books from them at least 10 or 15 times and never had a problem. I live in a small city in Gangwondo, and I usually get my books within 7 or 8 business days (usually about a week and a half).
The free shipping is nice, also. |

www.BetterWorldBooks.com is a good option as well. A lot of their books (both new and used) can be shipped to Korea for $3.99. Plus they donate some of the money they get to world literacy.
Check the site for restrictions on what can and can't be shipped for cheap. Some of their books cost more to ship. It's pretty clear when you read the info on the site. |

Quick update, to my previous post. www.BetterWorldBooks.com now has free shipping to Korea with a lot of books for under $6. I ordered 12 books tonight for around $74. |

You can always spot the newbies in Korea when they're still mentioning whatthebook and getting ripped off thinking they're getting a deal.
What?! I mean, yes, WhatTheBook for me! Yes go there now! |

Where do you find free shippers on there? I've looked at several and it's always at least 9,000W or so to ship a book to Korea... |

It's a Korean business marketed to foreigners in Korea. I've found every book I've looked for on it so far, and the owner of the business is really easy to get in touch with, speaks excellent English and has gone out of his way to get the books into my hands. Shipping is really cheap. I can't recommend this business enough. |
