Sorry guys, I need help. I've been reading old posts about severance pay but I'm still not sure. Your input is appreciated.

1) According to some old posts, someone here claimed that severance should include base pay and OT. Is that fact from experience and/or some legislation? If so, please guide me that legislation? According to the pay guy from my Off of Ed, severance IS only the base pay.

Here's how much I know. Severance is calculated from the average salary of the last 3 months. I just renewed, so the pay guy suggested I wait until 2nd contract completion since my severance would be higher due to pay increase. That's fine with me.

2) Is tax being deducted from your OT? Mine is. Again from the pay guy, any amount over 250,000 W is taxable. Is that correct? Something doesn't add up. I clearly remember my previous year in Jeonbuk, no such mandate.

I should also note that 1/3 of my pay is from OT and not all of my OT is from the same pot of money.

Thanks again for your help.
