Oi!
I'm looking to rent a passenger Van in Anseong. I have a Korean drivers license, but I am unsure if I need any other documents. Are there any extra fee's or charges that I should be aware of? Is there an average price that I should be expecting per day for the rental?
Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks, |

Look at your lisence! Do you have a level 1 or Level 2? Upper left corner of your picture. Level 2 mean no more than 7 person car. Level one means trucks and 8+ person vehicles (15 person vans) are ok. If you have a level 2 then you need to take an additional written test and driving test to secure a level 1 license.
I hope that this helps. As for price I rented one about a year a go and it was about 8ok per day! plus gas and additional ins as yours will not be enough if you have a reg car in Korea.
You can PM me if you have additional questions |

Thanks for the license info. I do only have a class 2. It should be ok as there are only 6-7 of us road tripping it. A Regular passenger van should suffice (hmm, what is the equivalent to a grand caravan here? lol)
Can you recommend any rental car (van) agencies? or is any mom and pop shop good to walk into?
Again, thanks for the info. |
