There are a few big public DNS servers out there. I have been using Google's new server for a few days and it does seem a little faster, but will have to give this a try when I get home this afternoon.

Are there any common issues associated with changing a DNS server, e.g. port forwarding on my router deciding not to work or anything like that? Can it be problematic changing DNS? |

Not that I am aware of. I have had no problems. Just remember to write down your original DNS server addresses (two sets of numbers: primary & secondary) and if you have problems you can easily switch back. |
