Hi all,
I have just been assigned a winter camp with students from Grade 3-Grade 6 elementary, all in the same class! The Grade 3's literally do not know the alphabet, and some of the Grade 6's can hold a decent conversation. The co-teacher (who won't be there during the actual camp) told me to focus on writing and speaking. My question is, how do you hold the whole classes attention, and how do you teach writing to a class of such wide-ranging ability? I have the same class for four hours every day. Is this mission impossible?! Any ideas?
