I need to get some good Korean books because I want to start learning Korean.
I need a really nice book that just emphasizes grammar, I really don't want one that is set up like a textbook, I want a book that's main focus is mostly grammar intensive.
Can you guys write down a series of books that have helped you out, and I'll look them up on amazon and see if they are worthy of my attention.
Also, I have studied Chinese and a bit of Japanese, so any books that have presumed knowledge of those languages for some odd reason would also be great. |

I have "Korean Grammar for International Learners."
http://hanbooks.com/korgramforin.html
It sounds like what you're looking for. It's organized by grammar and full of example sentences.
No dialogues or scenarios really, and the example sentences aren't in any particular context, so it's too boring to use as a textbook and not good for learning vocabulary, but it's good as a grammar reference text. If you have the discipline, you can learn the grammar rules of Korean and how to create Korean sentences pretty well from this book. |
