Hello, we've got a pre-paid mobile from SK Telecom. It allows us to text England but does not allow the recipient to reply, even if they change the number and use 00182...
Our friends in England can ring our mobile but we cannot ring either a mobile or landline in England, despite trying 00182...00282...0082.
I phoned SK Telecom but they said they don't know how people in England can text us or how we can ring them. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance Smile

It may not be possible for your friends to text you on your SK Phone. I know in Australia only Optus customers can text my Korean phone. Vodafone, 3, and Telstra customers can't.

As far as ringing overseas on a prepaid, I don't know if SK allows prepaid customers to, however if you carry a prepaid international phone card in your wallet you can use that, although with the pain of having to key in the card number and your friends number, but it will be cheaper on the plus side.

I have the opposite problem with my prepaid SK phone - I can receive texts from the UK but can't send them!

I can make and receive calls though - dial 00700 44 then the number (minus the 0..sorry if I'm stating the obvious here..)
