I've finally rounded up all my documents and need to send them to my recruiter in Korea to start the Visa application. I remember last year when I did this I just went to fedex and paid a $185 or something ridiculous like that just to send it (as my recruiter at the time said I must use fedex). This time the guy said he doesn't care as long as you can track it.
Is there a better/cheaper option? I don't want it to take weeks to arrive, but I also think $185 was ridiculous. Sorry for being lazy and posting here, it just seems like someone would know better than me. |

I used Canada Post for all of my paperwork - the tracking number works until it leaves Canada and then it updates when it's been delivered. This means no tracking once its in Korea, but it's cheap and I've never had any problems with it.
If you need a tracking number all the way from point A to point B, you HAVE to use a delivery service that runs in both countries - FedEx and DHL are the choices, as far as I remember. |

In the USA the cheapest way to send mail overseas is DHL, a german company, I think they are even faster than FEDEX. They have a very good reputation. |

I paid around $90 from Toronto, Canada last year. DHL. If we're just talking documents and nothing heavier. |
