Hi everyone,
I'm going on a trip next week which involves a depressingly awkward departure time from Incheon (9am!) so I need to figure out how to get to Incheon. My nearest major(ish) place is Uijeongbu.
Because I have to be there by about 6am I can't take the subway, but I've heard of a bus service which runs from the exit one side of Uijeongbu station. Apparently it's cheap and gets you straight there. I just need to know when it runs till and where to pick it up! If anyone could help me I'd be very grateful - I have a feeling a taxi to Incheon would cost me a packet!
Thanks in advance

There definitely is an airport bus which stops outside Uijeongbu station (well, not right outside - as you leave the station you need to turn left into the main road. There's a sign on the sidewalk with an airplane on it. The bus stops there.).
The bus should run every 20 minutes, with the first bus to the airport leaving at 04:10, last bus at 20:50. It takes about an hour to get to the airport (depending on traffic), and should cost about W11,000. More info here:

There's also a direct bus from Pocheon, if you are unfortunate enough to be living there, as I was. But it only runs twice a day.
Do yourself a favour, though, and avoid that early morning stress to get to the airport for a 09:00 flight. Take a bus the afternoon before, and stay overnight here: http://www.ghincheon.com/around/e_around_account.htm
They do free pickups from the airport, and have really spacious clean rooms. That way you get a good night's rest, and don't risk missing your flight. |

That's fantastic - thanks for your help! Getting a few hours shut-eye before hand would definitely make the whole thing easier.
Thanks again,
