| This is regarding the standard medical check for foreigners entering and teaching in Korea. I tried to get my coworker to translate, but all I came up with was HIV and syphilis. I get tested yearly for STDs and since all my tests on the medical check came back clean, maybe I don't have to? |

I think that's correct. Standard blood tests test for those two.
the other stuff, if you're worrried about those, if you have something you will know because sure fire symptoms will surely occur. I think even with asymptomatic genital herpes, the first (and last) outbreak/symptoms are unavoidable. |

| Blood tests can only tell you so much. A full STD workup includes a urine test and a swab. |
