Anyone help me out with this problem?

I have been told I have to level test the students for my winter camp to split them into differnt groups. Inside the next two hours ! Another great last minte bombshell dropped on my lap. I am not really sure what is the best way to do this ?

If anyone could give me some pointers or post up a link that would great,
Cheers !

What's your name?

How old are you?

When's your birthday?

If they fail any of these they should be level 1.

But that is too simple, you have to also consider the age. Do you want some 13 year old together with a bunch of 10 year olds? It doens't always have to be based on ability.

The easiest is to put gr 3 and 4 together, and gr 5 and 6 together.
Assuming you want just two levels.

I did mine this way:
Level 1: Can they read/write/take dictation of alphabet(big/small case)
Level2: Do they know basic phonics (single letters) and
Korean elementary curriculum grade 3-4 conversation
Level 3: Do they know phonics (complex letters) and
Korean elementary curriculum grade 5-6 conversation
Level 4: Overseas students

test all on level 1. You'd be surprised how many fail this.
