So I'm applying for positions at the moment, both directly and via recruiters.

I spotted a decent-looking job on one of the sites only to be told that the employer prefers someone with no experience! Bizarre. Anywhere else experience would be looked upon as an advantage, but I guess some employers want fresh young meat that can be easily molded.

In some cases, maybe it's better to leave off the experience when writing your resume... Rolling Eyes

Yeppers, and those are jobs you'd want to avoid anyway.

ESL here was never about teaching.
It's about saving money

Incompetence is a virtue here

The name of the game here is money...yes true in so many other places but it is intense to the core here man. Education, learning, teaching etc etc all that just takes a back seat. In fact, if it was on a bus it would take the last seat.
It reminds me of the few moments I watch Pro Wrestling. Yeah the actual match can be good sometimes but I laugh and really enjoy all the spectacles outside the ring - the interviews, the fans, the hype, the pretty chicks and the exciting introductions just before the match. The match itself...well yeah ok..I guess it has to be there Smile
