| I ran into an old friend who has a bit of a situation with his current gf. He still likes her and feels all comfy with her, but she is no longer doing it for him on the physical side of things. He thinks it's due to some sort of fear of commitment thing. Clearly he should go get laid and indulge in some much needed self-flagellation, tell her, endure the fecal storm and break up with her, and then get into a series of short lived emotionally unfulfilling relationships until at the age of fifty he finally realizes what really makes him happy is to pay someone half his age to tie him down and spank him for being a naughty boy. But I just don't know how to phrase it delicately. How should I put it so as not to hurt him? |

Tell the guy to stop being such a feline. He should find that which makes him happy. On the physical side - he's a guy. The worst he ever had was wonderful. He needs to quit his bitching on that score. |

yeah, the trick is to phrase it so they hear what they wanted you to say in the first place. sort of like that guy guessing malinda or whatevers name in 'being john malcovich'.
ps- he just wanted to vent is all. me too. i guess i'm getting bitter, |

Tell him exactly what you wrote there. When he is done laughing, tell him the truth: She is having an affair.
Move on, nothing to see here, next customer please. |

Aww, .38, it's not as bad as all that. It's not that she's not putting out, he's just not feeling the same spark. Here's hoping the chick who broke your heart contracts herpes and dies lonely. |
