I want to text some friends in other countries, but I forgot what number you have to put in front of the text. Help? Thanks Smile

You can also get a skype account, buy a little skype credit, and send SMS to phones anywhere in the world for dirt cheap from you computer.
(
Sometimes it is difficult to buy skype credit from Korea as they often assume online credit card purchases from Asia are a fraud.

I'm in blighty and my korean girlfriend is in well korea and we send text messages too each other on a daily basis and we both receive them as quick as you would if your friend text you.

shouldn't be a problem, just use the same number as you would for phoning a certain country

with o2 we get 250 free messages each month to send of their website and they go world wide, however I'm not sure korea is one of the possible locations.

vodafone give you 300 messages per month, but I don't know if korea is allowed.

these apply to the irish site o2.ie and vodafone.ie

you can send to u.k, ireland, u.s, france etc etc

Are some networks not compatible?

My sister's texts from the UK are not getting to me here in Korea.

She's using 008210..., which is what I'd expect to work and which is apparently how my number appears on her phone when I send by 0070044...

I'm with LG. She's with 3. (Yes, that's a phone company called three! As in 3G, I think.)
