1) do you keep your same alien registration number when coming back?
2) is pension actually a once in a life time withdrawal?
3) can i go to the pension office after my contract and back pay my pension, causing my bosses to also pay? i want to avoid any unpleasantness that may arise. it's been 10 months and they've made it clear that they don't want to pay pension and that i'm on thin ice as it is. so is this something i can do after my contract or do i have to do it during my contract?
thanks to anyone with answers. |

1. Generally speaking yes...however there are exceptions to this rule.
2. It is intended to be. However many people simply withdraw it at the end of every year (showing the pension office their homeward ticket) and return later to start anew.
3. You can do this either way...it may be slightly more difficult after the end, but it can be done. Be sure to photocopy your ARC number for future reference...you'll need it to claim pension and you have to turn the actual card in at the airport when you leave. |
