This belongs at the beginning of the thread because it is so much better than what I posted.

I loath that movie. Not because it asserts that men can be skinny and anemic but still one thousand times more useful than your 'average' girl (the average girl everyone is in love with, mind). But because the ladies love it. Holywoody has been trying to hook the moderately profitable female market for decades, and sending out a bunch of hot female action heroes for everyone to get behind. But the majority falls in love with the cripplingly clumsy pretty girl perpetually in need in saving. lame.
I only saw the first movie and read half of the first book. someone did a bunch more than that:

"...I think the funniest thing in the world would be if Edward actually ate Bella. I'd, like, frame that passage."
The author is 20, she is allowed to say 'like' in the above manner unironically for at least one more year.
You want a supernatural series written for women, try this:

Nice, brainless fun with steamy sex scenes.

Women shouldn't be so aggressive as in action heroes, competitive sports, and garbage like that. I would like to see more about women being good housewives..ya know who can cook the best cookies and brownies, better ways to keep your home looking nice, ways to make your husband and children happy etc....I'm so sick of the "What about my rights" attitude.

I think you mean 'care about' rather than 'adhere to'. If you can't handle your liquor don't drink and post, and i was kidding. Google "Wonder Woman undertones" if you don't get what I mean. It's funny. |

I rarely ever drink. I did mean "adhere to".
Wonder woman undertones?
"Not even girls want to be girls so long as our feminine archetype lacks force, strength, and power. Not wanting to be girls, they don't want to be tender, submissive, peace-loving as good women are. Women's strong qualities have become despised because of their weakness. The obvious remedy is to create a feminine character with all the strength of Superman plus all the allure of a good and beautiful woman."

You meant 'adhere to'? Then you are right and full of baffling non-sequitor. I meant undertones of a more ahem nature, dude. That's your first search? Bleh. Moral- always use google.ca:

my god, it's like the book only so much better!!
"I AM VAMPIRE. HEAR ME TWINKLE"
"The Meadow of ~*Great Sparkle*~
[And then they lie down, slowly, tenderly, among the flowers in his favorite meadow (he has a favorite meadow) and stare at each other, not touching, softly arguing who's prettier."

How does my conclusion not follow the premise? It doesn't matter because before that that you wrote that I am "right"
That wasn't my "first search". It was my second search and the second search is the one I first posted.
Man I love debating with women |

Oh, you're debating? I thought the schizophrenic guy who mutters to himself at the bus station started posting on daves and I was humoring him. Yes, debate away, you're doing super . So, to refute your pile of disconnected ideas that lack anything like context to help me decipher their meaning, yes, the government is out to get you and that tinfoil hat not only keeps the aliens out of your mind, it looks great with your garbage bag raincoat. |

This conversation comes up time and again in life. I don't dislike Twilight although I'm not big on the reaction to it.
The problem with Twilight is that vampires and werewolves running around is believable fantasy compared to the idea that an alpha male such as Edward would act that way with any woman -- alpha males just don't do that in any world. |

Because alpha males are too busy trying to cover up that receding hair line with misogyny and bluster? |
