|
|
I know that the KEB debit card (ATM card) can be used overseas. It's a major advance in banking services for expats. But is there a limit as to how much we can take out overseas? Might be nice to know in advance before I go on holidays.
Thank you in advance,

you better be careful. i got an "international atm card" from KEB at their itaewon office, only to discover later once i was in england that (surprise, surprise) it didn't work. apparently, the international card needs to be activated first which the idiots at the branch were supposed to do. it worked eventually, but be prepared to make some phone calls to KEB from abroad.
edit: as for your question, i don't know. however i would plan to have a bit extra in cash on you just in case. |

| yeah make sure you filled out the foreign transactions form at the bank when you got your card, and i would call the help line as well and ask to make sure it is ready to go. they can tell you about any limits as well. |

| My card definitely works. I've used it overseas before. I'd just like to know if there is a cash withdrawal limit. |

| I think it was around $200/day or so. I used mine in Thailand with no problems. |
