you might want to check out.

Opera 10.10 with unite. Turns your browser into a server, I can listen to music and stream stuff from my home computer and listen/watch from any computer and any browser. You can even host websites from home. Also good for sharing photos and files to friends and family.

http://www.opera.com/

Log me in for free. I use it for fixing up my mums computer and adding torrents to my home computer while I am at work so I have something to watch after work

https://secure.logmein.com/US/home.aspx

feel free to add any others I should try

Very cool. Thanks.

My favorite free antivirus apps:

1. www.avast.com (HOME version is free).

2. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Microsoft-Security-Essentials.shtml (fast enough to run concurrently with Ahnlabs V3 if you don't trust V3, yet are unable to remove V3).

My favorite cheap/dirty photo application:

www.irfanview.com

So, would that mean I could access any of my files at home from my work computer?

The logmein for free will not let you transfer files from one computer to another, you can open the file on your home computer or email it to yourself

Opera (provided you set it up to share) will let you download files from your home computer here is an example

I can access all my movies at work and can either download them or stream them. You can also password protect it if you want
