That's about it.

I did make a poor American's Korean dinner last night, which made me happy:

So why not return? Obviously you left for a reason. Don't forget why you left and maybe you won't be missing it so much.

One thing I noticed about Korea is that couples who come to Korea together don't seem to leave together - for a myriad of reasons I suppose.

Just something to keep in mind. Isn't it funny how that happens? Maybe the guys just get lovestruck with the K gals? Or is it the pressure of living and coping in a foreign country?

Anyways something to think about.

They came to Korea together, stayed for several years, and left still together. Razz

Yeah, what do you mean? We are getting married in a few months? Plus, we lived abroad together before we came to Korea.

What makes you think it isn't the other way around?

Well it hasn't happened to any married couples that I know of, but I have seen it and heard of it often, for long term bf and gf. The girl usually leaves for her home country first. And then the guy gets a Korean gf.

It didn't happen to me, since I arrived and left alone.

As far as the girl becoming enamoured with Korean guys, well I haven't seen that.

So wait... the foreign guys get lovestruck with Korean girls and dump their foreign girlfriends or the foreign girlfriends get sick of Korea, go home, and then the foreign guys start dating Korean girls? Those are pretty different scenarios...

In any case, I've never witnessed either one. The couples I've known here that came here together also left here together. But I haven't known many.

Anyway, I think it's an awful lot of stress to put on a relationship though. New country, new job, new friends, all at the same time for BOTH of you. That's asking a lot of the relationship.

My sweetheart loves only me! Little MollyBloom Razz

I am little. I'm only 5 feet tall but can kick over my head. And I'm spunky, too. Once, in France, I got drunk and almost choked out some 6 foot tall guy!

A few posters on here met me. They can vouch for my spunky-ness.

Wait. Substitute "spunky" for "squirrely" when imbibing.
