In the herald today,
"In terms of the dollar value of government-to-government arms sales agreements with the United States, Korea came seventh, having agreed last year to purchase $1.2 billion worth of arms. The United Arab Emirates topped the list with $8.9 billion in the total value of sales agreements concluded, followed by Saudi Arabia with $7.8 billion, Morocco with $2.4 billion, Iraq with $2 billion, Egypt with $1.3 billion and Taiwan with $1.3 billion.
and we wonder why these places are often described as "trouble spots"

Your snide comment is just that, snide. Those countries are all allies of the US. The US isn't just tossing arms out there for the fun and profit. |
