Surely this has been asked and answered before, but could someone kindly point me to the answer to this question:

Where exactly is the law stated that a landlord must give notice (be it to you or to your school, doesn't matter) before entering your apartment?

I can't find this law, or the amount of notice required, written down anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

If your school provides your housing then you have the status of being on a sub lease. I am pretty sure that the protections extended to tenants don't apply to you.

Actually if you look in the Labour Standards Act (see Job discussion sticky) Article 98 states the the employer shall not interfere in the private life of a worker residing in a dormitory. This may be your only hope of arguing that yuo are entitled to a notice period.
