I have never been surfing but I love the sea and am quite confident I'd love it.
Anyone know of anywhere within a reasonable distance of Korea where you can do a course for a week or so? |

If by "within reasonable distance of Korea" you mean in Asia, then Bali would the best place to go. |

Bali as well. I only knee-boarded, but when I was in Kuta Beach there were lots of guys renting boards and offering day-lessons. It looked like an easy way to get your, uh, feet wet. And no one should need an excuse to go to Bali! |

I presume Japan has some waves as well... might be worth having a look at. But Bali is certainly a surfing mecca. |
