I have seen so many people flaunting their degree......John Doe, BA,MA J.D., etc..... abbreviations after ones' name on their business card....unreal....Ok, besides the obvious MA, MD, BA, any others....

BS = we all know what BS stands for
MS = More of Same
PhD = Piled Higher and Deeper

My late elder brother, who didn't care much for people who flaunted their degrees, used to carry around business cards with his name and the initials G.H.S.J.B. following. People were really impressed and wondered what kind of a degree he had.

Graduated High School Just Barely

Actually, he was a very intelligent fellow and had received a senator's nomination to attend the United States Naval Academy. However, from what I remember, flat feet (or something like that) precluded his going in.

I used to call my BA "Barely Anything."

It's not a real degree, but I knew women in college who were only there to find a husband. We would joke that someone was there to get her MRS.
