|
|
Does anyone know why it is illegal for someone with a F-3 dependent visa to work? Is it just so foreigners won't take away Korean jobs? I am asking because my wife will be teaching English in Korea soon and I will be going with her on a F-3 visa. I am a graphic designer and I was hoping I could just do online work for American companies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

| I don't really understand this either. I think it's because the F3 is a temporary visa. If you have a bachelor's degree then you can get your own visa. The E-7 (working visa) was recommended for my husband (who is also on an F3) but he can't get it because he doesn't have a bachelor's degree. |

An E7 doesn't require a bachelor's. An E2 does. An E7 is a special working visa that the government can hand out for all kinds of things.
There are people working at some English villages without bachelor's degrees on E7s.
An E7 does require a sponsor though.
rammac if you're doing work for an american company online and getting paid to your american bank account, it shouldn't be an issue at all. |

yeah, but I dont think journalists wait for a visa process when a war breaks out somewhere or some event happens..
they are pretty much on a plane the next hour to get there if they dont have a rep on the ground there already..
gorrilla style..
writers who take up residents in a foreign country they dont need a visa.
even thought they are paid by a company to work..
freelance people same.. if you are employed by an american company and they are paying you I really dont see how its illegal you are working by the pool in thailand drinking a pinocolada with your laptop!
emailing off some work you just competed between massages! |
