| A school wants me to sign a contact for a March start but I would like to wait for possible university interviews in Jan. If I sign but don't give any Visa docs then pull out of the contract can they do anything to me? |

Nope they can't do anything to you. If you do it your word means nothing and people should call you a MOD EDIT 
If you want the job...sign. If you want to wait for something better, then wait. Don't be a jerk about it. |
