|
|
So I set it up with my VP that I was going to do a week of winter camp, working 8 hrs a day. I did this last year, and didn't bother to ask for overtime pay because I got so much vacation time that it seemed greedy of me to do so if I was only working 5 days. Well this year, my VP wanted to do the same thing, but as everyone knows Gepik is making everyone come in on days that aren't specified vacation days. I told them that if they were going to make me come in for those days, that I wanted overtime pay for the 40 hr week I would work at camp. I suggested that they break the camp upinto 2 weeks, but there's another camp being run by the military during the time when it isn't my vacation. So they want the camp during one week at the end of Jan without overtime, or they want me to change my vacation and split the camp up into the last 2 weeks. How much of a stink should I make over this. Do you think it's greedy to ask for overtime if I'm working only a week of camp? Opinions? Suggestion? |

How about some shady back room deal like,
you don't come in for desk warming, like last year
and no fuss over time payment, since
GEPIK is not gonna send inspectors to take temperature of desks, are they?

What are you saying?
i'd ask about the vacation time. Since they won't let you bank time from the summer are they not going to honor the contract? |
