Has anyone worked at the JLS in Daejeon?

I am getting a contract from them tomorrow and am wanting a little more reassurance before I sign it and leave in a few weeks.
I've looked at some older posts and it seems like no one has had anything too negative to say about it.

Also, who on the board lives in Daejeon?

I'm pretty sure that J.L.S. or one of its branches started the Daejeon City Hogwon Association's spying campaign against expat teachers back in Spring of 2007. The buses for some hogwons had big banners that read: "Attention Foreign Teachers!! We are watching you! Private tutoring is illegal for foreign teachers!!"

The poster known as Smee has a blog. It is named, "Brian in Jeollanamdo." He probably has more info about this.
