Anyone know where I can find Korean subtitles for A Christmas Story? I tried on GOM Player, but the only Korean one was badly out of sync.
Thanks. |

Thanks but those are the same ones that are on GOM. The first one is to a different movie and the second one is a file with English subtitles. |

You can adjust the subtitle sync...I think you press "Shift" (or Ctrl or Alt, not 100% sure) + the "<" and ">" keys. True, some subs are beyond repair, but it's worth a try. |

back 0.5 sec = "<"
forward 0.5 sec = ">"
Sometimes you have to ride the buttons while the movie plays. I just played a 20 minute video. I started at -21.5 seconds and ended at +6.5 seconds. Every 30 seconds or so I'd have to press the ">" button to advance the subtitles.
It's not ideal but if you keep your eyes on what is going and have a basic understanding of Korean you can look for key words and make minor adjustments as needed to keep it in sync. They generally play either too fast or too slow. |

If you can find the release group (BMT, BestDIVX, DOMiNO), and find the respective subtitle, you're golden. However, with most full DVD rips, most SRT or SMI files will work.
I just search Gom for A Christmas Story, and a subtitle file is there.

That subtitle file is only in English, not korean. I wonder where the OP found his badly synced copy? |
