I have heard of people going to the airport without a ticket, and trying to get a ticket at one of the desks.
I have a few questions.
1. Has anyone on this board done this? Please tell a short story of your experience.
2. How do you do it? I mean, it may seem like a silly question, but do you just go the desk of several airline companies and simply ask if they have any tickets?
3. Is the ticket a lot cheaper than usual? |

That's a cool site, thanks for the tip.
What I really meant was just showing up without a ticket or a reservation. Do I need to book something and then go stand-by? Or can I show up with bags packed, money and passport in hand, and try my luck? |
