So ippy, said my korean coteacher (who is lovely by the way and in no way the subject of my ire), you have to sign this form to say you are here everyday for december, january and february, and then you must get one of the teachers to sign it off for you.
Okay, you have to do this too right? i asked.
<puzzled look>
Well i mean you have your own version of the form you have to fill out and you have to get approval from one of the teachers that you are here?
Well no, she replied, we fill out a certificate.
Oh, okay, ill do that too.
But you cant read korean so you cant.
You can translate it to me then. It will be no problem.
<bunny in the headlights as she looks at me without saying anything> |
Honestly, i have to laugh.
Dear EPIK. Im a grown up too. I can supervise my own attendance thanks, just like every other teacher in the school.
Your pal, ipps. |

Ah yes, I got lumped with this too.
Don't forget that you have to also describe what you're doing at your desk and on your days off.
They actually thought I was being serious when I wrote "Grocery shopping in Seoul". |

I've had that since Day 1.
I've not touched it since then and
nobody gives a medieval architecture about it. |

| Medieval architecture was, IMHO, characterized by the use of Flying Buttress. |

To refer back to the thread's title...
...please forgive me...
...I'm a lonely schoolmarm...
...I live a virtuous life...
...
...
OP, how do you look in a neck-uh tie, blazer, and tight slacks...?
