I wouldn't buy a used HDD. Not when a new one isn't so much. Old HDD's are pretty flakey.

I guess 35,000 would be a fair price for a used 500GB HDD.......Good brand 1TB drives are 100,000 brand new now. With 2 year warranties.

It would be worth almost nothing to me because I can easily go and buy a 1TB drive for 100,000 and fill it with 1080p rips. Of my own choice too! Which is exactly what I've done. Twice. Two Samsung 1TB F3 in my PC.

I've went through the hassle of bad sectors, read/write errors, failed burns.......old HDD's aren't worth the risk.

I'm just talking from my POV, though. Lots of people might think 500GB drives full of HD movies is worth 50,000. Go for it.

Also it depends on how old the HDD is. if it's little over 1 years I wouldn't see why not getting it. The price is bit high for the drive since it's used. 35k won sounds fine
