No way! Leg cramps are caused by a lack of calcium in the diet. I don't see how soap could make up for a calcium deficiency. But.... if I were suffering and nothing worked I would try the soap.

Maybe it's just the act of kicking the soap around that helps?

I don't know about soap in the bed for leg cramps, but it sure does wash the sin out of a kid's mouth!

I had a [some problem] so I did [something random]. [Some problem] gradually disappeared, but then after a while it gradually came back. Then I did [something random] again and it gradually disappeared again. Doing [something random] rocks!

Bananas, yes. It's the potassium you need.

If the soap doesn't work and you still wake up with leg cramps, soak a towel in hot hot water and use as a compress--after you've untwisted the toes jumping over each other.

Quinine, used to treat malaria, was always an effective preventative too. But it's harder to come by these days.

Don't they sell tonic water round your way?

Ah yes, I forgot tonic water. Banana and tonic water, great bedtime snack if you're prone to night time leg cramps. Splash of vodka and twist of lime wouldn't hurt either! Twisted Evil
