Well, I think there are still two teacup dogs available on the trade forum!

Hold on a minute! You've been together for five years and you have no idea what to get her? She must be interested in something and if not there are countless traditional options to fall back on.

Uhm, some insight into her interests, personality, and other quirks would be helpful.

Does she enjoy going out or staying home? Being extravagant or sensible? Socializing or Just the Two of You? Favorite Artist? Musician? Writer? Gym Rat or Shopaholic? Any Hobbies? Right Brained/Left Brained? Career or Family?

Some help here so we can help you.

People tell you what they want, all you've got to do is listen for it. Anything we suggest will be impersonal because we don't know this chick at all. You've spent five years with her, you've gotta be able to better than we can. These questions ought to lead you in the right direction:

What does she talk about? books? movies? music? Tickets to a concert or play might be a good place to start.

what does she most like to do? can you get her something related to a sport or hobby?

Is there anything she considered buying recently but decided not to because it was too expensive? It's a great time of year for sales, and you might get a good deal.

If you are truly clueless, the things that most women like include:

good perfume (find out her favorite first)
jewelry...especially earrings
nice lotions and bath things.
Pajamas, both the sexy kind and the cozy kind, it's nice if you can find something that is both...then she will wear them more often.
Sweaters...soft and pretty like her.
Tickets to a tropical island.

You could also make up little love coupons for little chores that she would enjoy having you perform. For example:

This coupon good for one long backrub without any pressure for "returned favors"
This coupon good for the running of one hated and dreadful errand
This coupon good for the washing of dishes without complaint.

These are just examples, you can tailor the coupons to your situation.

Given that she is a career-oriented person with an interest in both art and music, and it being your 5th Anniversary (traditionally wood), perhaps a stylish desk/studio table for her to do her work. A nice touch would to have it be one of those "desks for two" where you could work side by side. A shelf to go with it where she could display her books, art and music collection. Or maybe a nice wood-paneled stereo for home or the office.

However being in Korea, this may limit your expenditures to things that are compact and not too expensive.

Is there something local in wood she has admired? Furniture or a jewelry box or a mirror or something?

OR just look out there for something that is wood that relates to her artistic hobbies, interests, and preciously stated desires. Is there any kind of material object that she takes pride in? Is there anykind of event or interest she has expressed before say "if only we could..." or "someday I want to..."?

You know her best, the more detail and insight you give us, the mroe helpful we can be, but ultimately you'll know best.

Best of luck and happy Anniversary!
